Congresswoman Erin Houchin, who represents Indiana’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted several developments involving her constituents and the broader community in Southern Indiana through a series of posts on social media.

On September 2, 2025, Houchin congratulated a local teacher and student for their participation in a national event. Erin Houchin has served as the U.S. Representative for Indiana’s 9th District since 2023 after replacing Trey Hollingsworth; she previously served in the Indiana Senate between 2014 and 2022.
