Erin Houchin began serving in Congress in 2023 after replacing Trey Hollingsworth as representative for Indiana's 9th district. She previously served in the Indiana Senate from 2014 to 2022 and holds a degree from Indiana University Bloomington.
She was born in Salem, Indiana in 1976 and continues to reside there.
