On February 14, 2025, Congresswoman Houchin announced the introduction of the COVID-19 Vaccination Non-Discrimination Act alongside Rep. Michael Rulli. She stated: "Hospitals exist to save lives, not impose medical mandates on vulnerable patients. @RepMichaelRulli and I introduced the COVID-19 Vaccination Non-Discrimination Act today to ensure no American is refused a transplant over personal medical decisions."
