On October 21, Congresswoman Houchin criticized Vice President Kamala Harris in a tweet. She stated, "Vice President Harris continues to say, 'On day one,' but her day one was 3.5 years ago. Under her leadership, we have a wide-open border, crippling inflation, and chaos worldwide. If she wanted to address Americans’ concerns, she would do so today."

The following day, on October 22, Houchin shared her support for the reauthorization of the Farm Bill before the year's end. She noted the financial pressures faced by farmers due to increased production costs and declining incomes. In her tweet, she mentioned having signed a letter to House Leadership advocating for this cause: "Recently signed a letter to House Leadership supporting the reauthorization of the Farm Bill before the end of the year.
