Congresswoman Erin Houchin, representing Indiana's 9th district since 2023, has recently shared her perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets. Her social media posts reflect her legislative priorities and political views as she prepares to return to Washington.

On October 28, 2024, Congresswoman Houchin expressed her commitment to the agricultural sector by advocating for the reauthorization of the Farm Bill. She stated, "I’m pushing for the full reauthorization of the Farm Bill by the end of the 118th Congress. Our farmers are facing outdated policies and rising costs that impact their livelihoods and our food supply. This is a top priority of mine as we return to Washington in November."

The following day, on October 29, 2024, Houchin participated in "The Contender" podcast where she discussed an incident involving Pi Kappa Phi fraternity members at UNC who defended the American flag during campus protests. She commented on this event saying, "Had a great conversation on 'The Contender' podcast with the courageous Pi Kappa Phi brothers of UNC, who stood up to protect our flag amidst campus protests. It’s quite contradictory to disrespect the very symbol that grants them the right to protest!"

On October 30, 2024, Houchin tweeted about women's safety under former President Trump's administration. She remarked succinctly that "The world for women was safer under President Trump’s leadership."
