On October 3, 2024, Congresswoman Houchin tweeted about joining a discussion with @Catsandcosby regarding the "No Bailout for Sanctuary Cities Act" proposed by Representative LaLota. The act recently passed the House. She stated that "American taxpayers should not have to foot the bill for cities that welcome chaos and refuse to comply with federal immigration law."

Later that day, she criticized the Biden-Harris Administration in another tweet for offering limited financial aid to families affected by Hurricane Helene. She highlighted that "The Biden-Harris Administration is offering only $750 to families devastated by Hurricane Helene after draining FEMA’s hurricane fund to pay for the care of illegal immigrants." She called this allocation of resources a "complete mismanagement," leaving many Americans without adequate support.

In another post on October 3, Houchin emphasized her stance on women’s sports. She tweeted "Women’s sports belong to biological women." The congresswoman mentioned Senator Marsha Blackburn's efforts to protect female athletes and invited followers to listen to Blackburn's discussions on platforms like Apple, Spotify, YouTube, or X.
