Providence Volleyball Honored For Winning IHSAA 3A State Championship

The Clarksville Town Council meeting on Tuesday night started on a high note with a visit from the Our Lady of Providence High School girls volleyball team. Council President Ryan Ramsey began the meeting by proclaiming November 15, 2022 as “2022-2023 Providence High School Girls Volleyball Team Day” in the Town of Clarksville.

The Pioneers defeated Belmont High School from Decatur, Indiana to claim the state’s 3A State Volleyball Championship, ending the season with a 31-6 record. The Town of Clarksville decided the achievement was deserving of recognition, so the team was invited to appear before the Town Council. The team also received a framed copy of the special proclamation to take back to the school.

The Town of Clarksville would like to congratulate the Pioneers on another amazing season and their fourth State Volleyball Championship!
