City of Scottsburg hosts 1st Annual FALL FUNFEST on Saturday, October 8th at Beechwood Park

City of Scottsburg hosts 1st Annual FALL FUNFEST on Saturday, October 8th at Beechwood Park

The City of Scottsburg is hosting its first annual FALL FUNFEST on Saturday, October 8th at Beechwood Park starting at 10am until 7:30pm. At 7:30pm there will be special entertainment at the stage and there will be a movie in the park starting at 8pm. During the day several events and activities will be going on so there is something for everyone in your family. This event not only helps bring our community together but the City has included several organizations to assist in using the event as a fundraiser so that efforts will enhance the needs for others. The event will have music and entertainment, vendor booths for organizations/businesses, food trucks and food vendors, a euchre tournament, a corn hole tournament along with a softball tournament. We are also including several bouncy houses and games for the kids. The games will be used as a fundraiser for schools/organizations as well as to split the proceeds. FALL FUNFEST also encourages all participants and vendors to donate an item to be given away during the festival – so come all day and you may win!

FALL FUNFEST is about community and giving back and the City of Scottsburg invites everyone to stop by or stay for the day and enjoy a great FALL FUNFEST day at Beechwood Park.

We are still in need of the following and a donation can help with these items:

- Pumpkins for Paint a Pumpkin for kids to take home

- Game prizes for the children

- Entertainment/Food Trucks and Vendors

Please contact the Mayor’s Office at 812-752-3169 to donate or email jbaker@cityofscottsburg.com
