City of Scottsburg Street, Sewer and Sanitation Dept.
Position: Street/Sanitation Truck Operator
Requirements: Perform minor maintenance on equipment; check and replace street signs; clean storm drains, sewers, culverts and catch basins; performing maintenance work such as repairing streets, snow removal, sweeping street; work on sidewalks and driveways which cover existing sewer drains; hauling materials; replacing sewer pipes. A detailed list of duties can be obtained at City of Scottsburg Human Resources at the Mayor’s Office in City Hall.
Qualifications: Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent; Possession of a valid driver’s license; Must obtain a CDL within 6 months from date of hire. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Applications: Candidates can obtain a City of Scottsburg application from City Hall. Applications and resumes must be submitted to the Human Resources Office no later than 4:30 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022.
