Local Author Meet & Greet: DAVID DOMINE on April 2

11

Jeffersonville Township Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Saturday, April 02, 2022

1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Event Details

Join us on this date for a special hour with noted Louisville-based author David J. Domine.  His new book is entitled A Dark Room in Glitter Ball City: Murder, Secrets, and Scandal in Old Louisville.  Published in 2021, it has been described as "a true-crime saga with an eccentric Southern backdrop."

Domine has quite the academic background with an MFA in writing, an MA in Spanish literature, and an MA in German literature, and he teaches foreign languages and translation at Bellarmine University.  For more information, please visit his website:  daviddomine.com.

One hour in one's day is not that long when you stop to analyze it, but this particular one will be jam-packed with a reading, a book discussion/conversation, and a book signing/selling.  Domine will read from A Dark Room in Glitter Ball City, and as time permits, there will be a discussion on the reading that includes Q&A, and afterwards he will sign and sell copies of his book.

Even though the Center Room can hold 39 comfortably, registration will be limited to 30 to allow for social distancing.

Event Type(s): Adult Events

Presenter: David Domine
