City of Scottsburg recently issued the following announcement.
INDOT ROAD CLOSURE: The project consists of new guardrail installation and shoulder improvements along US 31 from the CSX railroad bridge to the bridge over Flat Creek.
Projected start date 04-04-2022
Projected completion date 06-22-22
Projected work Hours Monday- Friday 0700-1700
Marshfield Road will be closed to thru traffic from Main Street to US 31 for the duration of the project
Phase 1 in this phase the southbound shoulder along US 31 will be constructed this work will include the construction of the 8 foot paved shoulder and installation of a guardrail. Flaggers will be in place at each end of the work zone to direct traffic through the construction area.
US 31 shall be open to traffic in both directions during NON WORKING HOURS.
