CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE: Animal Shelter temporarily closes to the public

City of Jeffersonville issued the following announcement on Mar 16.

Until further notice, the J.B. Ogle Animal Shelter will be closed to the public effective immediately in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Staff will be at the shelter providing care to the animals.

At this time, the shelter will not be able to accept any surrendered animals.

You can still view adoptable pets on Petfinder.com and if you have any questions you can call and leave a message at 812-282-0071 and someone will get back to you.

The Shelter will still be able to communicate through Facebook and email.

If you have an emergency need, please call your local police department.
