New Albany Board of Public Works Update

GREEN VALLEY | Restoration on Green Valley Road and Daisy Lane continues with Thursday milling and resurfacing and re-striping on Friday.

This is all part of the Green Valley Improvement project, flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.

On Saturday, August 6, the Board approved a request to shut down 119 Daisy Lane, so crews are able to put in a new sanitary manhole, which will be set to tie the new development, Villas at Green Valley.

MAIN STREET | The Board got an update on the Main Street Project.

All water main lines have been installed and pressure tested from Third Street to State Street. Work continues in this area and project leaders are hopeful to be wrapped up by August 15.

QUICK UPDATES | Concrete patching started this week on Main Street. Work on the kayak launch at Silver Creek started this week with clearing.

Curb work and repairs continue on Pamela Drive, Stover Drive and Jacobs Drive.
