Congresswoman Erin Houchin has expressed her approval following the House of Representatives' passage of the Republican Budget Resolution. In her statement, she described the resolution as a "bold, responsible plan to put our country back on the right track." According to Houchin, the plan is aligned with the will of 77 million Americans who wish to see a reduction in what they consider reckless spending, as well as enhanced border security and restored economic strength.

Houchin emphasized that the resolution ensures that House Republicans will honor their commitments to the American public by "cutting waste, fraud, and abuse without harming eligible beneficiaries of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security." The congresswoman highlighted that the budget framework aims to bolster these essential programs to ensure they remain available for future generations, along with seniors and families who depend on them.

She also noted that the resolution initiates the reconciliation process necessary for implementing "the transformational policies of President Trump’s America First agenda in one big, beautiful bill." Houchin concluded her statement by affirming her support, saying, "I proudly voted yes."
