Erin Houchin has represented Indiana’s 9th District in Congress since replacing Trey Hollingsworth in 2023. Prior to her congressional service, she was a member of the Indiana Senate from 2014 to 2022 and is an alumna of Indiana University Bloomington. Born in Salem in 1976, she continues to reside there.
