On June 5, 2025, Houchin discussed her appearance on "The Contender" podcast. She highlighted a conversation with Brian Riley, founder of Guardian Bikes, emphasizing his efforts to bring manufacturing back to Seymour, Indiana. "On the latest episode of The Contender, I sat down with Brian Riley, founder of @guardianbikes, to talk about how he's not just building the safest bikes for kids—he’s bringing manufacturing back from China and investing right here in Seymour, Indiana."
