On Friday, Feb. 28, former Floyd Central High School standout Max Meyer’s current college team, the Embry-Riddle FL Eagles, lost 12-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Rollins Tars.

The game took place at Sliwa Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tars this season.

The Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at Sliwa Stadium against Rollins Tars.
