On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Floyd Central High School standout Seth Newkirk’s college team won in an NCAA Division II baseball game

On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Floyd Central High School standout Seth Newkirk’s current college team, the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters, won 11-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Quincy Hawks.

The game took place at Lamar Hennon Field. This was their second matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Railsplitters’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Lamar Hennon Field against Quincy Hawks.
