How to Build a High Performance Home with Ted Cummings

Date: Monday, March 06, 2023

Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Location: Jeffersonville Township Public Library North Program Room

Event Details

Join us on this date and again on Monday, March 13, 20, and 27, respectively, for our hour-long discussions on high performance home building with the razor-sharp and well respected TED CUMMINGS!

For those contemplating building a house from start to finish, these discussions with Ted Cummings are a must.  For the past 8 years, he has become reasonably knowledgeable in the building science that is High Performance Home Construction.  Five years ago, he hired a local builder to construct the home he shares with the love of his life, his beloved Bonnie, following the basic principles of HPH construction.  Furthermore, he has been advised by a reasonably authoritative source that he and Bonnie have the most energy efficient home in Indiana!

Each of these discussions will be an opportunity for Cummings to offer the knowledge that he has gleamed to anyone desiring to learn for use in the planning stages preceding construction of their very own home.

For those not familiar with Ted Cummings, he is a Jeffersonville resident, and also a retired Family Physician.  His only "qualification" is an interest in this subject, experience in building his own home, and continued reading and research.
