IU Southeast Athletics Posts Record-Tying GPA for Fall 2022 Semester

The IU Southeast athletic department posted a record-tying 3.3 grade-point average for the fall 2022 semester with 81 student-athletes being named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. Five Grenadier athletic teams posted grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher led by women's basketball at 3.55. Volleyball followed with a 3.52 GPA, with Women's Tennis at 3.42, softball at 3.39 and baseball at 3.13.

"I couldn't be any happier to see so many of our student-athletes succeeding in the classroom," said Interim Director of Athletics Amanda Dailey-Weaver. "Student-athletes juggle very rigorous schedules. It is a true testament to their individual efforts when they can successfully balance academics and athletics."

The Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognizes the outstanding academic accomplishments of IU Southeast student-athletes. To earn recognition student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.0 grade point average for a semester.
