The Ideal Beauty Academy enrolls nine undergrads

At the Ideal Beauty Academy, 67 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 100 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in Jeffersonville enrolled nine students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 50 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Black or African American (67 percent) and white (33 percent).
