Mid-America College of Funeral Service enrolls 122 undergrads

At Mid-America College of Funeral Service, 54 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 69 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Jeffersonville enrolled 122 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

52 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 48 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as white (78 percent) and Black or African American (22 percent).
