On Friday, April 11, former Floyd Central High School standout Max Tripure’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UT Martin Skyhawks.

The game took place at Skyhawk Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Skyhawk Baseball Field against UT Martin Skyhawks.
