Congresswoman Erin Houchin, who represents Indiana’s 9th district in the U.S. Congress, shared her views on the upcoming State of the Union and legislative priorities in a series of posts on February 24, 2026.

In an early evening post, Houchin expressed anticipation for President Biden’s address: “I’m looking forward to tonight’s State of the Union. America is safer, stronger, and more affordable under @POTUS’ leadership. Tonight, the American people will hear directly from their Commander-in-Chief. ” (February 24, 2026).

Later that evening, she referenced former President Trump in relation to online safety for children: “President Trump gets it. Protecting our kids from the dangers of social media should be a top priority for lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.” (February 24, 2026).
