The Students’ Bill of Rights Act is designed to safeguard the First Amendment rights of college students. It aims to ensure that all voices are represented in academic settings by reinforcing free speech, religious liberty, and freedom of association. This measure seeks to protect students from ideological discrimination on campuses.
Another proposal, the Prioritizing Evidence for Workforce Development Act, focuses on federal workforce development funding. It emphasizes directing resources toward programs with proven effectiveness. The goal is to promote accountability and provide workers with necessary training and resources for success in the current economy.
The Hidden Fees Disclosure Act addresses transparency issues within the healthcare sector. It requires Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) to disclose hidden fees that contribute to increased prescription drug costs for Americans. This bill aims to inform patients and policymakers about the actual cost of prescriptions.
Lastly, the Retirement Proxy Protection Act is intended to safeguard retirees by ensuring financial advisors and proxy voters prioritize financial returns over political agendas when making investment decisions related to retirement plans.
